Things that are captured through the lens of your creativity, seep deep into your heart and transcends through the stories that you tell. These stories are my paintings. These stories are the long stored anecdotes that reflect upon my understanding of what’s around me, what’s around you. My work is my way of projecting the art that’s beyond quintessential colours and have a rusted melody to it. A melody that I hum everyday and would like everyone to hear, see, feel.

I have maintained a very intimate relationship with my surroundings. Whatever I’ve seen in my surroundings, I’ve striven to express it through my paintings in a unique manner. My works take their final form with the aid of visualistic and abstract images. I’ve tried to look and present the fundamental matter found many layers beneath the obvious. The rural ambience and its mud racked houses have deeply affected my mental makeup. Traveling down the lanes of my childhood, i find myself attached closely to such scattered memories. All this is and much more is the part of my canvas.
